Is there anything I can take to boost my energy? I am stage4 with mets to the lungs, bones, liver. No pain yet, just at the very tired stage, I am going on my bucket list cruise in 6 weeks and want to enjoy it to the fullest.

Esther, I would be asking your doctor for a referral to a nutritionist. They might have some special foods you might enjoy to help boost your energy. I also wonder how your blood count it too. My friend who was stage 4 needed a blood transfusion and I know it made her feel SO much better. You want to feel your best to enjoy that cruise. Take care, Sharon

I agree with Sharon...so much can be done with nutrition....I suggest using it to help you live your life to the fullest as you desire. I am reading a book called Taking Control and it is amazing how eating the right foods can heal and help you! Also the book Anti Cancer a Way of Life is a wealth of information.

I have MS which causes fatigue. The neurologist prescribed Provigil to help with that. My insurance would not cover it because it is expensive. So, when I need it, I now take a low dose of adderall. I don't know if this would help you, but it has helped me to be able to live life and do things.

most important things keep hydrated, eat protein fruit and vegetables, and keep moving. A doctor you specializes in looking at Treatment and your needs can prescribe specific vitamins that can help.... These docs usually work in groups that treat whole person... So glad to hear you are going on a Cruz !!!! Living your good life!
