I am undergoing radiation after a lumpectomy and I am exhausted. Is anyone else feeling the same?

I also had a lump removed and had radiation treatments and was very tired and had no energy. but my strength is coming back and my energy. I think it just takes a while.

radiation kicked my butt more than chemo did. finished radiation dec 23rd and my energy is almost normal. it would come and go. I'd be fine, then all of a sudden would need to lay down. very frustrating but it's better. just remember.... you are a survivor and this too shall pass

Sublingual vitamin B12 also helps. I'm not quite 2 months post radiation

Ask your doctor about your Vitamin D levels. After I had radiation, I was super tired, but once I started taking a Vitamin D supplement, within 2 days it was like all the lights turned back on and I felt like my pre-treatment self. My levels were well below 40 (The test is called a "Vitamin D 25 O-H" and your minimum level should be 40. Again, please check with your doctor.), but by taking Vitamin D supplements daily, my levels are now in the normal range.
