Last week I started taking the pill for a form as a cancer blocker. Everyday I get up with a headache and I feel depressed after I take the meds and on top of that I have to take these for 5yrs.What do y'all think I should do??

Francine, I would definately tell your oncologist how you are feeling. Some of this medication you may get temporary side effects but this is something you should discuss with your doctor asap. Hang in there but call the office tomorrow. Take care, Sharon

I understand.... The problem I have with the pill..... Is that it is really affecting my Bones. Every part of my body hurts. We will hopefully try some other form of meds.... We shall see.

I've only had two minor headaches and am not troubled with them now. I'm finishing my third month on Femara and going to talk to the doctor about an antidepressant for those days that are hard. They aren't many for me but when they come I want to run away. Talk to your doctor.

These side effects might be temporary. I take it at night and that seems to help. I also exercise because it lifts my mood. However, You should let your oncologist know.
